The future of Inter Milan’s striker, Mauro Icardi, continue to face uncertainty following his captaincy issue. Having his captain status removed unwillingly, Icardi, hasn’t returned into action again with Inter.
That situation fuels many speculations regarding his future including the latest rumors linking him with Manchester United.
United reportedly are looking to sign the Argentinian international and are willing to offer an exchange. The Red Devils apparently are willing to swap their forward, Romelu Lukaku, in exchange of Icardi.
Reports from The Express suggesting that it’s something that Man United are really considering for next summer.
Lukaku himself despite getting his goalscoring run back in recent games, remain nothing than a second choice after Marcus Rashford. That situation means that the Belgium international is not considered a starting choice anymore.
Man United themselves are looking for a much better forward option and potentially switching Rashford to play wide again.
